MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY
Art in Motion Dance Company provides a unique, non-competitive quality dance education program with offerings in the principle genres and foci of the modern dance world: ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip hop, creative movement, and dance composition.
Art in Motion Dance Company is a family-oriented, community dance school with an environment that is conducive in developing both the recreational and pre-professional dancer. The instruction provides proper dance technique to each student regardless of their start ability and also incorporates the dancer in the creative process. We take students from the place where they enter and nurture individual talents until they achieve their own greatest potential. Through a qualified, educated and creative staff, Art in Motion Dance Company provides a safe, positive, structured, and fun learning environment where one may discover their own creative abilities and passion through the art of dance.
At Art in Motion Dance Company, we strive to build confidence in our students providing opportunities for performance, opportunities to learn to work cohesively with other students, to stay positive and motivated in the learning and creative process - skill sets that have been known to translate beautifully into other areas of their lives.
