Studio Life
Tuition Guidelines
•Yearly tuition is divided into yearly, sessions, or monthly payments (see rate sheet)
•Youth classes must be paid by one of the above methods. No single classes allowed
•If paying monthly installments, tuition is due on the 1st class of every month. A $15 late
fee for tuition payments received after the first of the month will be applied to your account.
Please plan your payments accordingly. No exceptions will be made.
•If tuition payment becomes 30 days past due, you or your child will not be able to continue
classes until balance is paid. If you are having difficulties with payments please contact the
Director immediately.
•Tuition is due regardless of student attendance. Make up classes are available for missed lessons.
Please see your teacher for available times. Art in Motion Dance Company does not issue refunds
on unused lessons, fees or deposits etc.
•An automatic $25 returned check fee will be applied if your check is returned.
Family Rates
1st student pays full price. Each additional member under the age of 18 receives 20% off the price for the month. This is only offered when paying monthly, session, yearly.
Attendance
It is important that the student attends every lesson. I agree to bring my child to every class and rehearsal at least 10 minutes prior to the start of all classes and rehearsals. If my child will be absent, due to illness or other family emergency, I agree to call Art in Motion Dance Company if my child will be absent. I understand that there will be no refund for any missed classes or rehearsals and that my child can "make-up" missed classes in another class recommended by my child's teacher.
Cancellations and holidays
We usually operate based upon the North Kingstown School Calendar. Please refer to the Art in Motion Dance Company class calendar for studio closings, etc.
If the weather is questionable, please call the studio prior to coming to class. We will have a message posted on the machine by 3:00pm weekdays or 8:30am for morning/Saturday classes
