Devon Larcher was accepted and now attends the Jacqueline M Walsh School for the
Performing and Visual Arts and also will be dancing with Fushionworks II Dance
Company in Lincoln, RI this fall.
Miranda Amitrano will be attending Manhattanville College in New York with a major in Dance Therapy. She was a solider in the Island Moving Company's, The Nutcracker. Miranda also coordinated a mob dance at the Warwick Mall where she raised money for the Andrea Rizzo foundation, while raising awareness to the benefits of dance therapy.
Bethany Peterson will be attending Festival Ballets Summer Intensive Program.
Erica Lambert auditioned and has the role of small Alice in Alice in Wonderland Jr. on Sunday, June 27th at NKHS put on by the NK Drama Program.
Tara Callaghan was awarded the silver key for her painting for excellence in visual arts from the Scholastic Art
and Writing Awards of 2010 and Rhode Island Art Education Association. She also received a special achievement award
from the Rhode Island alliance for arts education and University of Rhode island for her participation in "PS2010"a state
wide public school student art exhibit.
Katrina Plaziak performed in Alice in Wonderland Jr., which was presented by Our Lady of Mercy School in partnership
with Fantasy Works Youth Theater. It was held at East Greenwich High School on June 5 and 6.
Mallory Sampson received an award from the Alliance of Young Artists and Writers. Scholastic Art and Writing award
of 2010 and RI Art Education Association, Salve Regina University. Certificate of Merit for excellence in visual arts.
